SJVN Green Invites Bids for 733 MW Solar Projects Under KUSUM in Maharashtra

SJVN Green Energy (SGEL), a wholly owned subsidiary of SJVN, has invited bids for the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) of 733 MW solar projects in Maharashtra under the Mukhyamantri Saur Krushi Vahini Yojana 2.0 program, aligned with Component C of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Urja Suraksha evam Utthan Mahabhiyan (PM-KUSUM) program.
The tender covers 61 projects under different substations in the Pune and Solapur districts with capacities ranging from 10 MW to 20 MW.
Pune will be allocated a capacity of 154 MW, and Solapur will be allocated 579 MW.
Bids must be submitted by September 19, 2025. Bids will be opened on the same date.
Bidders must furnish an earnest money deposit of ₹1.12 million (~$12,700.41)/MW, and a document fee of ₹5,000 (~$56.74) plus 18% GST, totaling ₹5,900 (~$66.93).
The scope of work includes land acquisition, completing civil structures, module mounting, supply, installation, and commissioning of the solar projects. It also involves providing operation and maintenance services for three years,
Selected bidders must provide a central monitoring system.
Only modules adhering to the Approved List of Models and Manufacturers must be used.
Bidders must have completed solar projects with a minimum capacity of 30 MW. At least one 10 MW project must have been operational for a minimum of three months.
Alternatively, bidders must be developers of grid-connected solar projects with a minimum cumulative installed capacity of 30 MW. At least one of these projects must have had a minimum installed capacity of 10 MW. This project must have been operational for at least three months before the cut-off date.
Bidders must have executed at least one electrical substation of 33 kV. This substation must have consisted of equipment such as power transformers and circuit breakers with a rating of at least 33 kV. It must also have been operational for at least six months before the cut-off date.
Bidders must have an average annual turnover of ₹16.8 million (~$190,509.19)/MW over the past three years and a positive net worth in at least two of the last three years. Bidders can be joint ventures or consortiums of up to two partners, with the lead partner holding at least a 50% stake in the venture and the other at least 20%.
Recently, SJVN Green Energy invited bids for the EPC of 500 MW solar projects near the 220 kV Bikaner-IV substation at Ambaran, in Rajasthan.
