SJVN Green Invites Bids for 100 MW Solar Project in Rajasthan

SJVN Green Energy, a wholly-owned subsidiary of SJVN, has invited bids to commission a 100 MW solar power project in the Didwana-Kuchaman District of Rajasthan.

Bidders must also oversee the project’s operation and maintenance for three years.

The last day to submit the bids is April 26, 2024. Bids will be opened on the same day.

Bidders must furnish an earnest money deposit of ₹122 million (~$1.46 million).

Bidders must have developed, designed, erected, commissioned, or supervised engineering, procurement, and construction activities for grid-connected solar power projects with a 30 MW or higher cumulative capacity. At least one project must have 10 MW or higher capacity and be in operation for at least three months before the bid opening date.

Alternatively, bidders must have executed an industrial project in power, steel, oil and gas, petrochemical, fertilizer, cement, coal mining, or any other process industry, with a value of ₹1.83 billion (~$21.94 million) for a single project. The reference project should have operated for at least six months before the bid opening.

Bidders must have experience executing at least one electrical substation of 33 kV or above voltage level, including equipment such as 33 kV or above voltage level circuit breakers and power transformers. The substation must have been operating for at least one year before the bid opening.

They should have an average annual net worth of ₹1.83 billion (~$21.94  million) for the last three financial years.

Their net worth must be positive during the preceding financial year and should also be positive in two out of three preceding financial years.

SJVN has mandated using domestically manufactured modules listed on the Approved List of Models and Manufacturers issued by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy.

Recently, SJVN Green Energy invited bids for constructing 132 kV transmission lines, including bays, for its 125 MW Jamui Phase-I solar project and 75 MW Banka solar project in Bihar.
