Singareni Collieries Floats Tenders for 11.3 MW Solar Projects

Singareni Collieries Company has floated two tenders to set up 11,300 kW of ground-mounted and rooftop solar projects.
Selected bidders also must provide 10 years of comprehensive operation and maintenance services.
Bids must be submitted by October 8, 2025.
Tender 1
The approximate work order value for setting up 9,800 kW of ground-mounted and rooftop solar projects in identified vacant locations of SCCL is ₹540 million (~$6.09 million).
Bidders must furnish an earnest money deposit of ₹5.4 million (~$60,869).
Bidders should have experience in executing grid-connected solar projects with a cumulative capacity of at least 2,900 kW in the last seven financial years. Out of the above, at least five solar projects should have an individual capacity of at least 300 kW. They must have been in operation for the last six consecutive months before the bid submission end date.
Bidders must have a minimum average annual turnover of ₹176.4 million (~$1.99 million) in the last three financial years. The net worth for the last audited financial year should be positive.
They should also have a minimum working capital of ₹117.6 million (~$1.33 million) as per the last audited financial statement.
Tender 2
The approximate work order value for installing 1,500 kW of rooftop solar projects on the colony’s residential buildings, office, and guest house buildings within the premises of the Singareni Thermal Power Plant is ₹84 million (~$946,853).
Bidders must furnish an earnest money deposit of ₹840,000 (~$9,469).
Bidders should have experience in executing grid-connected solar projects with a cumulative capacity of at least 450 kW in the last seven financial years. Out of the above, at least five solar projects should have an individual capacity of at least 10 kW. They must have been in operation for the last six consecutive months before the bid submission end date.
Bidders must have a minimum average annual turnover of ₹27 million (~$304,346) in the last three financial years. The net worth for the last audited financial year should be positive.
They should also have a minimum working capital of ₹18 million (~$202,897) as per the last audited financial statement.s
In August, the Singareni Collieries Company invited bids for the engineering, procurement, and construction of rooftop solar projects with a cumulative capacity of 15 MW in Telangana.
