Singareni Collieries Floats EPC Tender for 5 MW Rooftop Solar Systems

The Singareni Collieries Company (SCCL) has invited bids for the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) of 5 MWdc of grid-connected rooftop solar systems on colony residential and office buildings in its different areas.
Bids must be submitted by May 23, 2025.
The estimated contract value is ₹250 million (~$2.92 million). Bidders must quote for the complete capacity.
They must also submit an earnest money deposit of ₹2.5 million (~$29,258).
Successful bidders must furnish a performance security of 10% of the contract value.
Selected bidders must provide comprehensive operation and maintenance service for ten years.
The modules must utilize mono crystalline passivated emitter and rear cell technology with a minimum rating of 540 Wp. They must be listed in the Approved List of Models and Manufacturers.
The solar module supplier must have supplied a minimum capacity of 500 MW in India in the last five financial years.
Bidders must have executed EPC or developed solar projects with a cumulative capacity of at least 500 kW in the last seven financial years.
They must have also commissioned at least five solar projects, each with a minimum capacity of 10 kW, in the same period. These projects must have been in satisfactory operation for at least six months before the bid submission end date.
Bidders must have achieved a minimum average annual turnover of ₹45 million (~$526,680) over the last three financial years. Their net worth for the previous financial year must be positive.
They must also have a minimum working capital of ₹30 million (~$351,102).
In April this year, SCCL floated two solar project management consultancy service tenders for a combined capacity of 137 MW in Telangana.
In March, SCCL floated development tenders for these two solar projects. Earlier, it invited bids to develop a 10 MW floating solar project in Singareni Thermal Power Plant, Telangana, through the Solar Energy Corporation of India.
