For commercial and industrial (C&I) businesses in India, switching to renewable energy is not just inspired by environmental concerns but also a strategic business necessity. In the evolving global energy transition, companies that rely on clean energy sources in their operations find themselves at a distinct advantage over those that continue to use fossil fuels.
Mercom India is hosting the fourth event in the ‘C&I Clean Energy Meet’ series in Hyderabad on August 22, 2025, at the Hyatt Place Banjara Hills.
The platform will bring together representatives from C&I businesses, renewable energy companies, and financial institutions to discuss the use of practical clean energy solutions.
The event will focus on how businesses can lower their power costs through rooftop solar, open access, and other mechanisms.
Registration for the day-long event will begin at 9:30 AM, followed by an inaugural session at 10:30 AM.
It will be followed by a session on “Rooftop Solar – Harnessing the Green Route to Reducing Electricity Bills.” The speakers are Bharat Singh TN, Director of Sales and Marketing at Ningbo Deye, Seshagiri Meka, Managing Director at Winsol Cleantech, and Nandeesh Kumar HR, Director of Finance at Emmvee.
Post the session, there will be a tea break for networking.
The break will be followed by the session on “Clean Power Purchase – Switching to Renewable Energy and Optimizing Savings.” The panelists are Yogish HN, Vice President at Enerparc; Rahul Makahaniya, Chief Marketing Officer at Soleos Solar Energy; and Vikram Malkotia, Vice President at UPC Renewables India.
The third session, titled “Attractive Financing Options – Easy and Affordable Green Loans,” will feature K Prabhudasu, Chief Manager at Bank of Maharashtra, and Piyush Bang, Chief Manager at Credit Fair.
The day will conclude with a networking lunch break between 2:10 PM and 3:10 PM.
The discussions will highlight how C&I entities, large institutions, and even residential apartment complexes are increasingly shifting to clean energy sources to cut costs compared to traditional grid tariffs. Rooftop solar is considered one of the most cost-effective and environmentally sound solutions for businesses seeking to lower their energy bills.
Key renewable energy stakeholders, consultants, manufacturers, lenders, and plant managers will attend the Clean Energy Meet. Attendees can benefit from insightful sessions focusing on delivering practical solutions for sourcing reliable, low-cost clean power. The sessions will also explore clean energy technology options and ways to finance renewable energy projects at competitive interest rates.
