Rajasthan Electronics and Instruments (REIL) has invited bids to commission 10 MW of grid-connected rooftop solar projects on state government buildings.

The estimated cost of the work is ₹494.7 million (~$5.48 million).

Bids must be submitted by December 15, 2025. Bids will be opened the next day.

Bidders must furnish ₹870,000 (~$9,641)/MW as earnest money deposit.

Selected bidders must submit a bank guarantee equal to 3% of the order value as a contract performance bank guarantee within 21 days of the issuance of the work contract.

The minimum capacity for a single project must be 5 kW, and the maximum capacity should be 1,000 kW.

Bidders should have a minimum net worth of ₹6 million (~$66,494)/MW as of the latest available unconsolidated audited annual results.

They should have an average annual turnover of at least ₹17 million (~$188,401)/MW over the last three financial years.

Bidders should have completed three similar works, each of capacity not less than 40% of the quoted capacity, two similar works, each of capacity not less than 50% of the quoted capacity, or one similar work of capacity not less than 80% of the quoted capacity during the last seven years.

Similar work includes the supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of grid-connected, off-grid, or hybrid solar power projects, as well as solar water pumping systems. The supply may include or exclude modules and inverters. The work may be under capital expenditure, RESCO, or other modes.

They must submit a Class B electrical contractor license or an electrical license for working at a voltage level of 11 kVA or above in Rajasthan or any other state of India before the start of execution of the work.

Successful bidders must commission the projects within 11 months from the date of issuance of the work contract.

They must provide 25 years of comprehensive operation and maintenance service.

The projects must deliver a capacity utilization factor of at least 15%.

In October, REIL invited bids to set up 22 MW of grid-connected rooftop solar power projects on government buildings in different states and union territories under the renewable energy service company mode.
