Solar Module Manufacturer Premier Energies’ Q4 Revenue Up 48% YoY

Solar module and cell manufacturer Premier Energies reported a total income of ₹16.80 billion (~$196.55 million) in the fourth quarter (Q4) of the financial year (FY) 2025, a 48% year-over-year (YoY) increase from ₹11.38 billion (~$133.10 million).
The company’s quarterly earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) also rose 186% YoY to ₹5.28 billion (~$61.79 million) from ₹1.84 billion (~$21.52 million).
Net profit was ₹2.77 billion (~$32.40 million), a 167% YoY increase from ₹1.04 billion (~$12.17 million).
The company reported an earnings per share (EPS) of ₹6.16 (~$0.072) compared to ₹2.46 (~$0.029) in the same quarter of the previous year.
As of March 31, 2025, the company had an order book of 5,303 MW worth ₹84.45 billion (~$987.78 million), comprising 73% module and 27% cell capacity.
Premier Energies has a solar cell capacity of 2 GW, with 6.4 GW more expected to become operational by June 2026 and an additional 1.6 GW planned by FY28. Its solar module capacity is 5.1 GW, with 6 GW under development and set to go online by March 2026.
The company is also establishing a 2 GW wafer facility, expected to begin operations by June 2026, and plans to expand this to 8 GW by FY28. It aims to add 10 GW of capacity in ingot manufacturing by FY28.
Full Year FY25
Premier Energies reported a revenue of ₹66.52 billion (~$778.38 million) in FY25, a 110% YoY increase from ₹31.71 billion (~$371.03 million).
EBITDA was up 273% YoY to ₹17.80 billion (~$208.30 million) from ₹4.77 billion (~$55.82 million).
Net profit stood at ₹9.37 billion (~$109.68 million), a 305% YoY increase compared to ₹2.31 billion (~$27.03 million) in FY24.
The company reported an EPS of ₹21.35 (~$0.25) compared to ₹5.48 (~$0.064).
Premier Energies reported a total income of ₹17.49 billion (~$200.86 million) last quarter, a 144.76% YoY increase from ₹7.15 billion (~$82.09 million).
In August last year, Premier Energies’ ₹28.30 billion (~$337.4 million) initial public offering received an overwhelming response from various investor categories, with the issue subscribed over 74 times.
