Lineage Power, a material subsidiary of Pace Digitek, has received a purchase order valued at ₹943.51 million (~$10.46 million) to supply battery modules, racks, and associated accessories to Bharat Sanchar Nigam (BSNL).

Under the order, Lineage will supply BSNL with 25,000 100AH/48V lithium-ion battery modules with battery management systems, and 2,500 Ingress Protection 55 racks.

The order also includes five years of annual maintenance and a five-year warranty.

In December 2025, Lineage Power received an order valued at ₹997.10 million (~$11.24 million) from Advait Greenergy, a subsidiary of Advait Energy Transitions, for the supply of lithium iron phosphate battery energy storage system (BESS) units and related equipment.

In November, Lineage Power received an order worth ₹1.9 billion (~$22.33 million) from Larsen & Toubro to supply 275,825 kWh of BESS in 55 integrated LiFePO4 liquid-cooling containers for the Bihar State Power Generation Company in Kajra, Lakhisarai district.

In the same month, Pace Digitek was one of the winners in Maharashtra State Power Generation Company’s engineering, procurement, and construction auction for 300 MW solar projects, securing 200 MW.

In October, Pace Digitek received an order from Solar Energy Corporation of India to supply a 600 MW/1,200 MWh standalone grid-connected BESS in Andhra Pradesh. The total order value is ₹11.59 billion (~$131.93 million).

In April this year, Pace Digitek was among the winners of Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation’s auction to set up 500 MW/1,000 MWh grid-connected standalone BESS to manage peak power demand. It won 250 MW at a tariff of ₹254,490 (~$2,971.28)/MW/month.

India added 48.4 MWh of energy storage capacity in the first half (1H) of 2025, a 74% decline from 186 MWh added in the same period last year, according to India’s Energy Storage Landscape 1H 2025 Report by Mercom India Research. India’s cumulative installed energy storage capacity reached 490 MWh by the end of June 2025. Solar-plus-storage systems accounted for 56% of India’s cumulative installed capacity.
