NVVN Extends Bid Submission Deadline for 13.5 MW of Grid Connected Rooftop Solar Under RESCO Model
The NTPC Vidyut Vyapar Nigam (NVVN), a wholly owned subsidiary of the National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC), has tendered 13.5 MW of grid connected rooftop solar under RESCO model in various states of India. NVVN has stated that the tender has been issued on behalf of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. The tender was issued in March 2017 and the bid submission deadline has been extended to May 22, 2017.
NVVN has allocated 11.064 MW out of the total 13.5 MW to general category states and union territories and has allocated 2.46 MW to special category states and union territories. They have also mandated that the modules used for the project should be manufactured in India. Rest of the components can be procured from any source.
The size of each project shall be in range from 1 kW to 500 kW under Part A, Part B and Part C (RESCO Model). One Project may however comprise of several rooftops units and may be separately connected to grid and may have separate meters.
Scope of work for the project includes design, engineering, manufacture, supply, storage, civil work, erection, testing and commissioning of the project including operation and maintenance (O&M) of the project for a period of 25 years under RESCO model after commissioning of the projects. The timeframe for completion of project is 12 months from the date of issuance of letter of allocation (LoA).
