NTPC Green Energy (NGEL) has issued a tender for comprehensive operation and maintenance (O&M) services for its grid-connected solar projects in Nokhra and Devikot, Rajasthan, for three years.
Bids must be submitted by January 12, 2026. Bids will be opened on the same day.
Bidders must furnish an earnest money deposit of ₹5 million (~$1.58 million).
The tender covers the 300 MW Nokhra Solar Project located in Bikaner district and the 240 MW Devikot Solar Project along the Pokran–Jaisalmer road in Jaisalmer district. The total capacity under operation and maintenance is 540 MW.
Power evacuation from both projects is carried out at 220 kV to Power Grid Corporation of India substations.
The selected bidder will be responsible for complete plant operation, preventive and breakdown maintenance, deployment of qualified manpower, module cleaning, transmission line maintenance, testing and commissioning-related activities during the O&M period, safety management, statutory and performance reporting, and the supply of specified spares
Bidders must have experience in either the installation and commissioning of at least one grid-connected solar power project of 50 MW or higher within the last seven years, or in the operation and maintenance of grid-connected solar projects aggregating at least 200 MW for a minimum period of one year during the same timeframe, including at least one O&M contract of 50 MW or more.
Bidders must have an average annual turnover of at least ₹140 million (~$56,390) over the preceding three financial years and a net worth of at least 100% of the paid-up share capital.
The tender is restricted to Class-I local suppliers, with a mandatory minimum local content requirement of 100% in line with the Make in India policy.
Liquidated damages will be linked to performance ratio shortfalls and inverter availability falling below 99.5%, with annual deductions capped at 10% of the yearly O&M contract value.
In July this year, NGEL invited bids for the comprehensive O&M of its 250 MW Shimbhu ki Bhurj-I solar project in Rajasthan for two months.
