The New and Renewable Energy Development Corporation of Andhra Pradesh (NREDCAP) has invited expressions of interest (EoI) to empanel vendors to set up rooftop solar projects between 1 kW and 500 kW on government buildings in Andhra Pradesh.
The last date to submit bids is April 22, 2026. Bids will be opened on April 23.
Bidders must submit an earnest money deposit of ₹50,000 (~$539.76) and an EoI processing fee of ₹29,500 (~$318.458).
The scope of work covers the design, supply, installation, and commissioning of rooftop solar projects.
It also entails the operation and maintenance of the solar systems for five years.
The EoI has been invited for the following projects: 1 kW, 2 kW, 3 kW, 4 kW, 5 kW, 6-10 kW, 11-100 kW, and 101-500 kW.
The projects must use solar modules and cells listed in the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy’s Approved List of Models and Manufacturers List I and List II.
Bidders can also be solar module manufacturers and must have completed work with NREDCAP during the last three years or registered as a vendor with Andhra Pradesh’s distribution company under the PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana.
Projects ranging from 1 to 10 kW must be completed within 45 days, 11-100 kW within 60 days, and 101-500 kW within 90 days.
The modules must be warranted for at least 25 years. These modules must provide a peak output of at least 90% at the end of 10 years and 80% at the end of 25 years. The solar grid-tie inverters must carry a warranty of at least 5 years.
In 2025, NREDCAP issued a request for selection of engineering, procurement, and construction contractors to develop 233.33 MW of grid-connected rooftop solar systems under PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana.
