NLC India Floats Tender for 565.6 MWp Solar Modules for 810 MW Project

NLC India has invited bids for the manufacturing and supply of 565.6 MWp crystalline bifacial solar modules for an 810 MW solar project at the RVUN Solar Park in Pugal, Bikaner, Rajasthan.
Bids must be submitted by January 1, 2026. Bids will be opened on the same day.
Bidders must submit a bid guarantee of ₹42.2 million (~$475,310) and a tender document fee of ₹20,000 (~$225.26).
Selected bidders must submit a performance bank guarantee equivalent to 5% of the order value within 30 days of the purchase order.
An advance payment of up to 10% of the contract value is permitted against an equivalent advance bank guarantee. The remaining 90% is payable on dispatch, upon submission of invoices, shipment evidence, and test reports.
The scope of work includes manufacturing, supply, packing and forwarding, transportation up to Pugal, and transit insurance of the solar modules.
Bidders must have supplied solar modules or cells with a cumulative capacity of at least 200 MWp, including one order of 50 MWp or more. Only reference orders above 10 MWp will be eligible.
Group or subsidiary companies may participate, if backed by a joint undertaking that ensures joint and several liability.
Bidders must have a positive net worth and an average annual turnover of at least ₹1.68 billion (~$18.93 million) over the last three financial years.
The local content requirement under the Make in India policy applies, with Class-I and Class-II suppliers eligible and a purchase preference of up to 20%.
The modules must be suitable for a 1500 voltage level and comply with the Approved List of Models and Manufacturers (ALMM).
In May this year, NLC India invited bids for the engineering, procurement, and construction of grid-connected solar projects with a cumulative capacity of 5 MW. The total capacity is divided into a 4 MW rooftop and a 1 MW floating solar component.
In March, the company invited bids to commission a 4 MW proton exchange membrane electrolyzer-based green hydrogen project at Neyveli, Tamil Nadu.
