NHPC Issues Tender for 2.5 MW Rooftop Solar Projects in Nagaland

NHPC has issued a request for proposal for setting up 2.56 MW rooftop solar projects at various government buildings in Nagaland.
Bids must be submitted by July 11, 2025. Bids will be opened on July 13.
Bidders must furnish an earnest money deposit of ₹2.5 million (~$29,213.1) and a bid document fee of ₹5,000 (~$58.42).
The scope of work includes the design, engineering, component procurement and supply, erection, and commissioning of the solar projects. It also entails obtaining all the project permits and licenses.
Selected bidders must provide net metering and obtain a no-objection certificate for the projects’ grid connectivity, if required. They must also ensure synchronization with the existing distribution network grid at the project locations.
Only modules from the Approved List of Models and Manufacturers of a minimum 500 W capacity must be used in the projects.
Bidders must have designed, supplied, erected, and commissioned grid-connected solar projects with a minimum cumulative installed capacity of 400 kW. At least one of these projects must have had a minimum capacity of 40 kW.
Bidders must have worked as a developer or engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contractor in the process industry or completed infrastructure development for a single project with a minimum value of ₹40 million (~$467,364).
Alternatively, bidders must have completed at least one electrical substation with a minimum 11 kV voltage level. The substations must have included equipment such as circuit breakers with at least 11 kV voltage levels and a power transformer. They must have completed these works as a developer or an EPC contractor.
Bidders must have an average annual turnover of ₹50.9 million (~$594,721) in the last three years. They must also have a positive net worth in the previous two financial years.
Bidders must have a working capital of ₹28.3 million (~$330,660).
Recently, NHPC issued a request for selection to set up 1,200 MW interstate transmission system-connected solar projects, along with a 600 MW/2,400 MWh energy storage system, anywhere in India.
