New and Renewable Energy Development Corporation of Andhra Pradesh Tenders 2.4 MW of Rooftop Solar

The New and Renewable Energy Development Corporation of Andhra Pradesh (NREDCAP) has tendered 2.4 MW of grid connected rooftop solar to be developed under RESCO mode. The rooftop solar projects will be constructed on government hospitals and buildings owned by municipalities in Vizianagaram, Andhra Pradesh under net metering basis for captive utilization of power. The project completion timeframe is 120 days from the date of receiving letter of award (LoA).

The scope of work includes, supply, installation, commissioning, maintenance, and operation of the rooftop solar project for 25 years. This is an empanelment tender and the contract will be awarded based on lowest levelized tariff for 25 years.

The NREDCAP has fixed the minimum project capacity at 300 kW and has stipulated that the levelized tariff over 25 years shouldn’t cross Rs.6.50 (~$0.099)/kWh. The NREDCAP will provide the successful bidder with a subsidy of Rs.12 (~$0.18)/W. The NREDCAP has also instructed the successful bidder to pay Rs.0.20 (~$0.003)/kW to NREDCAP throughout 25 years out of the tariff quoted, towards project monitoring and coordination charges.

Bidders can bid for the entire 2.4 MW.
