The Military Engineering Services (MES) has tendered a 3 MW solar project to be developed at Jaisalmer in Rajasthan. The bid-submission deadline is August 18, 2017.

The scope of work includes, design, engineering, supply, erection, installation, and commissioning of the project. The estimated project cost is Rs.180 million (~$2.8 million) and the project completion timeframe is 365 days from the date of award of contract.

In July, the MES had also tendered a 3 MW solar project at Ezhimala, Kerala.
