AEOLUS SAS, a subsidiary of Toyota Tsusho Corporation, completed 100 MW of solar projects in Tunisia. The company has completed two solar power projects in Tunisia’s Sidi Bouzid and Tozeur governorates through an operating company funded by AEOLUS and Scatec ASA. The 50 MW Sidi Bouzid Mezzouna PV Power project began commercial operation on January 1, 2026, and the 50 MW Tozeur PV Power was commissioned on March 4, 2026.

CleanMax Enviro Energy Solutions set up a 450 kW rooftop solar project for the luxury retail company Alpha Nero at its facilities in the United Arab Emirates. The rooftop project is expected to yield 740,000 kWh of clean energy annually. Construction of the solar system began in November 2025 and was completed within just three months. The system delivers approximately 1,650 kWh per kWp.

The General Authority for the Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZONE), in collaboration with the United Nations Industrial Development Organizationannounced the launch of Egypt’s National Clean Hydrogen Program. This initiative aims to advance Egypt’s transition toward a competitive, low-carbon economy anchored in green hydrogen production and export. The project entails conducting pre-feasibility and feasibility studies for priority projects, providing technical advisory for policy development, and strengthening institutional capacities. The program will also support the establishment of a Green Hydrogen Center of Excellence at the SCZONE headquarters in Sokhna, serving as a hub for technical innovation and sector governance.

Enercon signed a contract with onshore wind operator RT Enerji to supply 20 of its E-175- EP5 E2 wind turbines for the 140 MW Aydin–Denizli Wind Farm in the west of Türkiye. RT Enerji bagged the 140 MW wind farm under the YEKA-5 tender floated by the Turkish Ministry of Energy. Construction of the Aydin–Denizli wind farm is scheduled to begin in April 2027, with commissioning expected at the end of October 2027.

Nexans Morocco, along with its partners, secured the cable and power transformation contract for Morocco’s 305 MW Noor Atlas solar program. The program comprises six solar projects across the country and forms part of Morocco’s broader renewable energy strategy. The supplied solutions will be designed and manufactured locally in Morocco, with commissioning of the projects scheduled to begin in 2027.
