Malaysia’s Ministry of Energy Transition and Water Transformation (PETRA) has announced the sixth round of its large-scale solar (LSS6) program, offering 2,500 MW of utility-scale solar capacity, 1,250 MW of battery energy storage, and an additional 150 MW reserved for Bumiputera companies in Peninsular Malaysia.
