Madhya Pradesh Skills Development Project (MPSDP) has invited bids for the implementation of approximately 3.6 MW of grid interactive rooftop solar systems.

These projects will be implemented under the RESCO model and the power generated will be sold to select institutions in Madhya Pradesh.

The last date for the submission of bids is November 29, 2023. Bids will be opened on the next day.

The scope of the work includes design, engineering, finance, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning, along with comprehensive operation and maintenance for twenty-five operational years.

Bidders are required to submit a tender fee of ₹50,000 (~$601) and ₹4.2 million (~$50,489) as earnest money deposit.

The winning bidder must furnish a performance bank guarantee of ₹2.5 million (~$30,056)/MW, in accordance with the terms of the power purchase agreement, within 15 days of receiving the letter of intent.

Bidders must have a minimum net worth of ₹30 million (~$360,631). The net worth calculation should be based on the most recent unconsolidated audited annual accounts two years.

If the bidder or the lead member of the consortium has referred to its affiliate to meet the financial eligibility criteria, the affiliation will remain valid for the duration of the first operational year.

MPSDP retains the authority to withdraw or cancel the tender at any time without providing any specific reasons. Additionally, the MPSDP maintains the discretion to reject any or all bids without needing to provide any justification, and this action would not result in any liability on its part.

Recently, MPUVNL invited bids to select renewable power generators to set up 670 MW grid-connected solar power projects under Component C of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Urja Suraksha evam Utthaan Mahabhiyan (PM KUSUM) program.
