Juniper Green Energy Commissions 64 MW Renewable Energy Projects
The projects, located in Gujarat and Maharashtra, were commissioned ahead of schedule

Independent power producer Juniper Green Energy has announced the commissioning of 64 MW of new renewable energy capacity across two projects in Gujarat and Maharashtra.
The company has commissioned around 28 MW of wind power capacity in Devbhumi Dwarka, Gujarat, and a 36 MW solar component of its hybrid power project in Nanded, Maharashtra.
The Gujarat, the company is implementing a 70 MW wind project through its subsidiary, Juniper Green Kite. The commissioning was achieved four months ahead of schedule. The project has a power purchase agreement (PPA) with Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam.
In Nanded, Juniper is implementing a 133 MW hybrid power project through its subsidiary Juniper Green Spark Ten. The commissioning was achieved 13 months ahead of schedule. The project has a PPA with Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company.
As of May 31, 2025, Juniper Green Energy’s total portfolio stood at 10,069 MW. This includes 1,350 MW of solar capacity, 382 MW of wind capacity, 3,927 MW of hybrid (wind-solar-hydro) projects, and 4,410 MW under the firm and dispatchable renewable energy/battery energy storage system (BESS) segment, with an additional 2,685 MWh of BESS capacity.
The company’s operational portfolio includes around 1,320 MW of projects, while 3,891 MW of contracted projects and 4,857 MW of awarded projects are under construction.
Recently, Juniper Green Energy’s subsidiary, Juniper Green Sigma Eight, signed a PPA with TATA Power Company for a 70 MW firm and dispatchable renewable energy project. Under this PPA, Juniper Green Energy will develop a renewable energy project in Maharashtra, comprising a mix of solar, wind, and BESS.
In August this year, Juniper secured ₹17.39 billion (~$198.4 million) in debt financing from the Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency. The funds will be utilized to execute the company’s large-scale renewable energy projects and strengthen its operational capacity.
