Military Engineering Services Tenders 6 MW of Solar in Bathinda, Punjab

The Military Engineering Services (MES) tendered a total of 6 MW solar to be developed at various military stations across the country. The bid-submission deadline is July 14, 2017.

The capacity tendered comprises of a 1 MW solar project at Mahajan Military Station, another 1 MW solar project at Kanasar Military Station, and one project of 2 MW each at Suratgarh and Sriganganagar Military stations.

This is a lump-sum contract and bidder will have to bid for entire capacity. The estimated project cost is Rs.411.6 million (~$6.4 million). The scope of work includes, design, supply, engineering, procurement, erection, testing, installation, and commissioning of the projects.

The successful bidder will also provide operation and maintenance services for the project for a 25-year period. The project completion timeframe is 365 days from the date of issue of letter of award.
