Jodhpur Vidyut Vitran Nigam (JdVVNL) has invited price bids for commissioning 268 MW of solar projects along with its associated transmission lines and remote monitoring system under component A of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Urja Suraksha evam Utthan Mahabhiyan (PM KUSUM) in Jalore and Phalodi circles.

The last day to submit the bids is August 20, 2025. Bids will be opened on the next day.

These tenders are open only to already empaneled bidders with the ceiling tariff set at ₹3.040 (~$0.0347)/kWh.

Bidders must furnish e-procurement processing fees of ₹2,950 (~$34).

Tender 1

This tender covers 90 MW of projects in the Sayla and Raniwara divisions of Jalore Circle. There are 45 project sites with individual capacities of 2 MW.

Tender 2

This tender covers 96 MW of projects in the Dechu, Phalodi, and Lohawat subdivisions in the Phalodi division of Phalodi Circle. There are 48 project sites with individual capacities of 2 MW.

Tender 3

This tender covers 82 MW of projects in the Sanchore division of Jalore Circle. There are 41 project sites with individual capacities of 2 MW.

The selection of bidders under these tenders is based on the lowest levelized tariff (L1) offered for each solar project. All eligible bidders must submit their tariff bids online. These bids will be arranged in ascending order to determine the L1 bidder for each lot. In cases where two or more bidders quote the same tariff, a lottery will be used to break the tie.

This lottery will be conducted in the presence of interested bidders. It will be overseen by the relevant purchase committee. Successful bidders, determined either directly by the lowest quote or through the lottery, will be awarded the letter of award for the respective projects.

Selected bidders must design, survey, supply, install, test, and commission the solar projects. They must also connect the projects to designated 33/11 kV substations through 11 kV or 33 kV lines.

Each project must be equipped with a remote monitoring system to enable real-time performance tracking. The developer will operate and maintain the projects for 25 years from the commercial operation date. The project follows the renewable energy service model, where the developer will own the project and sell power to JdVVNL at a quoted levelized tariff.

In April, JdVVNL invited expressions of interest to develop 2,360.5 MW of solar power projects under Component A of the PM KUSUM program.
