Inox Wind’s Q1 FY 2027 Revenue Slips 1.5% YoY to ₹8.14 Billion

Wind energy solutions provider Inox Wind reported revenue from operations of ₹8.14 billion (~$85.5 million) in the first quarter (Q1) of the financial year (FY) 2027, down approximately 1.5% year-over-year (YoY) from ₹8.26 billion (~$86.8 million).

Adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) declined 3% YoY to ₹2.37 billion (~$24.9 million) from ₹2.45 billion (~$25.7 million). The adjusted EBITDA margin stood at approximately 27.2%.

The company’s net profit fell 34% YoY to ₹640.9 million (~$6.7 million) from ₹973.4 million (~$10.2 million).

Diluted earnings per share declined 38.3% YoY to ₹0.37 (~$0.003) from ₹0.60 (~$0.006) in Q1 FY26.

Inox Wind’s order book stood at approximately 4.4 GW as of July 2026, comprising orders from independent power producers, public sector undertakings, commercial and industrial customers, and retail customers.

Excluding orders from INOXGFL Group entities, equipment supply accounted for 59% of the order book and turnkey projects accounted for the remaining share. Equipment supply includes orders with limited-scope engineering, procurement, and construction work.

During July, Inox Wind received a letter of award from NLC India for a 200 MW turnkey wind project, along with operations and maintenance services. The company also signed a firm agreement for the first 500 MW tranche of a 1.5 GW wind turbine supply memorandum of understanding with Inox Clean. The 500 MW tranche is valued at up to ₹35 billion (~$367.6 million).

Inox Wind maintained its FY27 guidance of 75% revenue growth over FY26 and an EBITDA margin of 20% to 22%. The company noted that its revenue and EBITDA margin guidance includes other income.

The company said its strategic shift toward equipment sales is expected to yield long-term benefits and to be reflected meaningfully in its financials from the third quarter onward.

Inox Wind has a manufacturing capacity of over 2.5 GW across five facilities and manufactures and operates 2 MW and 3 MW wind turbine generator platforms with multiple variants. It is on track to commercially launch its 4.X MW wind turbine generators in the calendar year 2026 and is expanding its blade manufacturing capacity to support the new platform.

Inox Wind posted revenue of ₹12.44 billion (~$130.5 million) in the fourth quarter of FY2026, a 2.4% YoY decline from ₹12.75 billion (~$134 million).
