Hazoor Multi Projects has secured a letter of award from Apollo Green Energy for the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) of a 200 MW solar power project at the Gujarat State Electricity Corporation’s (GSECL) renewable energy park in Khavda (Stage-3).

The contract is valued at ₹9.13 billion (~$106.78 million). The project must be completed by March 2026.

Hazoor Multi Projects will be responsible for the design, engineering, supply, construction, erection, testing, and commissioning of the project. It must also operate and maintain the project for five years.

The tender was floated by NHPC in May 2024.

The awarded project forms part of a larger initiative by NHPC to enhance renewable energy generation capacity.

In a regulatory filing, Hazoor said its promoters or promoter group companies do not have any interest in Apollo Green Energy. Therefore, the transaction does not fall under the category of related party transactions. The contract has been awarded on an arm’s length basis.

Recently, NHPC issued a request for selection to set up grid-connected rooftop solar projects with a cumulative capacity of 19.2 MW on government buildings in Haryana. The projects will be set up in 18 districts. The capacities of the rooftop solar projects range from 25 kW to 495 kW.

In June this year, NHPC issued a request for selection to set up 5.6 MW of rooftop solar projects on government buildings in Sikkim. Bids must be submitted by July 24, 2025. Bids will be opened on July 29.

In the same month, the company invited bids on behalf of NHPC Renewable Energy to select developers for setting up 23.33 MW of rooftop solar power projects on government buildings in Jammu and Kashmir under the Renewable Energy Service Company mode.
