FCI Aravali Gypsum and Minerals India (FAGMIL), a government of India enterprise, has invited bids for the supply, commissioning, and operation of 2.52 MW ground-mounted solar power projects on a build-own-operate basis for 25 years.

The projects will be located at Bhawad, Osian, and Jodhpur in Rajasthan.

The ceiling tariff has been set at ₹3.32 (~$0.037)/MW.

The last date to submit the bids is January 21, 2026, and bids will be opened the following day.

The projects should be commissioned within four months of the work order being awarded.

Bidders must submit a bid security of ₹200,000 (~$2,218) and a performance bank guarantee of ₹13.94 million (~$154,609).

The power purchase agreement for the projects was executed with the Rajasthan Urja Vikas and IT Services (RUVITL) on June 12, 2025.

The successful bidder will be responsible for land ownership, design, construction, installation, and commissioning for the solar projects.

The scope of work includes the operation and maintenance of the projects for 25 years.

The projects must have a minimum DC input of 3.02 MW or more and an AC output of 2.52 MW.

To participate in the bidding process, the bidders’ net worth should be at least ₹50 million (~$554,550) as of the last day of the previous financial year. Their  annual turnover should be at least ₹10 million (~$110,910) during the last three financial years

The successful developer will be responsible for maintaining a minimum project availability of 95% (excluding grid outages) and will guarantee a minimum annual generation of 4.19 million units.

The developer may transfer the project only with the approval of FAGMIL and the lender and must adhere to the regulations of the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, the Central Electricity Authority, the Rajasthan Electricity Regulatory Commission, and Jodhpur Vidyut Vitran Nigam.

Earlier, RUVITL had invited bids from developers to set up 8 GW of solar power projects in the state.
