CREDA Tenders 1,444 kW of Solar in Chhattisgarh

The Chhattisgarh Renewable Energy Development Agency (CREDA) has tendered 1,444 kW of solar to be developed across 14 districts in Chhattisgarh on an aggregated basis. The bid-submission deadline is July 21, 2017.

The estimated project cost is Rs.217.7 million (~$3.36 million) and the entire capacity tendered consists of 243 small solar projects.

The scope of work includes, site survey, designing, supply, installation, commissioning of the solar projects. The successful bidder will also need to provide an unconditional onsite warrantee for manufacturing defects for a five-year period.

The CREDA has stated that they will pay for 95 percent of the project costs after satisfactory supply, installation, commissioning, and performance testing of the solar projects are complete at the site and projects have been handed over. The balance five percent of the payment will be retained by CREDA as a security deposit during the warrantee period.
