Bosch to Procure Power from JSW Neo’s 12.66 MW Captive Solar Project
The company will invest ₹40.5 million to purchase 4,052,160 shares in JSW Renew C&I One

Multinational engineering and technology company Bosch will procure power from a 12.66 MW group captive solar power project set up by JSW Neo Energy‘s special purpose vehicle JSW Renew C&I One in Maharashtra.
The company will invest ₹40.5 million (~$461,236) in one or more tranches to purchase 4,052,160 shares, each with a face value of ₹10 (~$0.11). The company will maintain a 26% equity stake in JSW Renew C&I One. The investment is expected to close by January 31, 2026.
Bosch, in its bourse filing, noted that the acquisition is not a related party transaction and that the promoter, promoter group, and affiliated companies have no vested interest in the entity slated for acquisition.
JSW Neo Energy specializes in developing and operating renewable energy projects. The company reported a turnover of ₹13.99 billion (~$159.33 million) and a turnover of ₹105.17 billion (~$1.19 billion) in the financial year 2024.
Bosch has set a target to generate 400 GWh from renewable sources by 2030. As of 2024, the company had generated 197 GWh, reaching 49% of its goal. The company has installed solar photovoltaic systems at 139 locations worldwide. Notable examples include installations in Slovakia with 811 kW capacity, in Spain with 750 kW, and in Japan with 1 MW.
In 2024, Bosch covered 99.5% of its global electricity demand with green electricity. The company has also entered into long-term power purchase agreements and purchased 374 GWh of green electricity in 2024.
In terms of global deployment, the highest in-house renewable energy generation is in China (31%), followed by Germany (25%) and India (18%).
Bosch also noted in its 2024 sustainability report that it has been carbon-neutral since 2020 across more than 450 global locations. This was made possible through energy efficiency projects, in-house renewable energy generation, green electricity purchase, and the use of carbon offsets for residual emissions.
