The Bihar Electricity Regulatory Commission (BERC) has waived application and meter-testing charges for domestic rooftop solar consumers under the PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana, following petitions from the state’s two distribution companies (DISCOMs) seeking to reduce adoption barriers.
