The last date to submit the bids online is September 17, 2022

Telangana State Renewable Energy Development Corporation (TSREDCO) has invited bids to install and commission 3.07 MW of grid-connected rooftop solar systems of various capacities with net metering at 1,521 government schools across Telangana.

The projects will be developed under the capital expenditure (CAPEX) model.

The successful bidder will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of the project for five years.

The last date to submit the bids online is September 17, 2022. Bids will be opened on September 19.

The project must be completed within 45 days from the date of the handing over of the site. Part commissioning will be allowed for the project in a phased manner. However, the systems allocated must be completed within the timeline.

Bidders will have to submit ₹2 million (~$25,150) as a bid security deposit. The successful bidder will have to furnish an amount equivalent to 3% of the total project cost as a performance security deposit.

In February this year, TSREDCO invited bids to empanel vendors to install 50 MW of grid-connected residential rooftop solar projects under Phase II of the grid-connected rooftop solar program of the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy.

Earlier, TSREDCO had floated an empanelment tender for 1-10 kW capacity of residential rooftop solar projects.

According to Mercom’s India Solar Tender Tracker, TSREDCO has issued tenders for 64 MW of rooftop solar capacity to date.
