MERCOM INDIA AWARDS 2026

India’s most prestigious Renewable Energy Awards are back by popular demand.

Nominations are now open for the annual Mercom India Awards 2026. Now in its sixth year, this flagship awards program recognizes companies driving India’s clean energy transition through impactful, innovative, and industry-leading renewable energy projects and solutions.

This year, we have also introduced two long-awaited new award categories, further expanding the platform to recognize excellence across the sector. The full list of categories is below.

• Companies may self-nominate
• Multiple submissions are permitted
• Projects of all sizes are eligible

About the Awards

The Mercom India Awards recognize organizations making significant contributions to India’s renewable energy sector, with a strong focus on accelerating the clean energy transition. The program honors excellence in project execution, innovation, manufacturing, strategic transactions, and technology advancement.

The awards also acknowledge organizations that have expanded clean energy capacity, strengthened India’s economic competitiveness, and delivered measurable environmental impact during the award year.

Nomination Guidelines:

• Companies may apply regardless of headquarters location; however, only projects located in India or products manufactured in India are eligible.
• Eligible entries must include products launched, deals announced, or projects completed between January 1, 2025, and December 31, 2025.
• The Research-to-Innovation award entries can apply for technologies developed in the past 3 years.
• All nominations must be submitted through the official online form. Incomplete entries will not be considered.
• Companies may submit multiple entries but may not submit more than one nomination in the same award category.
• Mercom reserves the right to reassign submissions to more appropriate categories and to modify or create award categories based on the entries received.
• Nominations may be submitted by the nominee, a third-party vendor, or a supplier.
• If submitted by a third party, Mercom may contact the nominee directly for additional information.
• Supporting materials, including website links, videos of up to 120 seconds, up to five photographs, certifications, and other relevant documentation, are strongly encouraged.
• Each nomination must include one designated primary point of contact.
• Winners will be announced at the Mercom India Renewables Summit on July 01, 2026
• A panel of Mercom experts will evaluate all submissions and select the winners.
• All submitted information will be kept strictly confidential and used solely for the award evaluation process.
