NPCL Solar Energy Private Limited, a power supplier, has tendered an 8 MW solar project to be developed in Greater NOIDA, Uttar Pradesh. The bid-submission deadline is September 4, 2017.

The project will be developed on build own operate and transfer (BOOT) basis and this is an engineering procurement and construction (EPC) contract.

A NPCL executive told Mercom, “No benchmark cost has been set by us for this tender, we want the EPC contractors to give us the price so we are conducting auction for this project.” The power generated will be utilized by the company to supply to consumers in the area it operates, added the NPCL official.
