MPUVNL Issues Tender to Standardize Rates for Grid-Connected Rooftop Solar Projects in Madhya Pradesh

Madhya Pradesh Uraja Vikas Nigam Limited (MPUVNL) has issued a tender for standardization of rates and selection of contractors for grid-connected rooftop solar PV projects from 1 kW to maximum size of 4 kW with energy storage aggregating to about 1 MW at various locations Madhya Pradesh. The bid-submission deadline is August 2, 2017.

The estimated project cost is Rs.70 million (~$1.08 million) and the project completion timeframe is three to six months from issue of work order. However, project specific timelines will be defined in respective work orders.

This tender calls for an engineering procurement construction (EPC) contract. The scope of work includes, design, engineering, supply, installation, testing and commissioning including insurance, warranty, spare parts for grid-connected rooftop solar projects of minimum size 1 kW to maximum size 4 kW with energy storage. The successful bidder will provide operation and maintenance (O&M) services for a five-year period.

The MPUVNL has invited bids from 29 eligible bidders.
