BHEL Issues O&M Tender for 20 MW Solar in West Bengal

Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has issued operation & maintenance (O&M) tenders for two solar projects of 10 MW each in West Bengal. The bid-submission deadline is August 4, 2017.

Contractors with prior O&M experience can participate. The scope of work includes, O&M of 10 MW solar project for five years. One 10 MW project is located at West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (WBSEDCL) Chharrah and the other at WBSEDCL Mejia.

According to Mercom’s India Solar Project Tracker, these projects are developed by BHEL for WBSEDCL. In 2016, BHEL had won an EPC contract to develop 3 solar projects of 10 MW each from WBSEDCL. These projects are located at Mejia, Santaldih and Chharrah.
